Product Description Combining the performance exclusive to the EZ-RJ45 design with the advantages inherent to shielded products for a unparalleled solution. In applications where NEXT, FEXT and AXT are an issue, using shielded products can be the solution. Designed to work on both Cat5e and Cat6 cables, solid or stranded. From the Manufacturer Platinum Tools, founded in 1997, was created based upon two very simple objectives. First, develop and source the absolute best possible solutions for the preparation, installation and hand termination of wire and cable. Second, implement an operational infrastructure that can deliver these products in an efficient, timely and high quality manner. All of our products absolutely must satisfy three critical benchmark criteria: utility of function, quality of function, and economic value. The patented Platinum 100003C EZ-RJ45 Connector simplifies twisted pair terminations by allowing the wires to be inserted through the connector and out the front. This allows the technician to easily verify the proper wiring order. The electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector down over the cable jacket and seating it tightly in the rear of the connector. This reduces the distance between the wire twists and contacts. When terminating your EZ connectors, twist all your extended conductors together into one tight bundle and then insert into your EZ crimp tool to be terminated. Tools designed for installing these connectors are the recommended Platinum 100004 EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool, 100044C EZ-RJPRO Crimp Tool, and the 100054C EZ-RJPRO HD Crimp Tool, each sold separately. The clamshell connector's simple one piece design with no bars or liners works with solid or stranded wire. For use in category 3, 5, 5E compliant data networks, the connectors are FCC compliant and UL rated. The Platinum Tools 100003C EZ-RJ45 Connectors are sold 50 parts to a package and are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty.

| Manufacturer Warranty Description | Platinum Tools warrants the Purchaser that the products purchased will be of merchantable quality and free from defects of material and workmanship, under normal use and service for a minimum of one year from the date of the Platinum Tools, Inc. invoice. Platinum Tools is not liable for products that are damaged as the result of Purchasers' lack of adequate instructions on the proper use of a product. Platinum Tools will not be liable for any modifications to its products by the Purchaser or Purchasers agent. Such modifications shall void the warranty. Satisfaction of this warranty will be limited to (at Platinum Tools' discretion): (1) the replacement of the product by Platinum Tools, or (2) repair or modification of the product by Platinum Tools, or (3) issuance of a credit for the defective products delivered under the order involved.
